GESP acquires Sysgroup

April 10th, 2011

GESP announces the successful acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Sysgroup Srl, a Turin-based company that operates in geographic systems with particular reference to CAFM systems (Computer Aided Facility Management).

Sysgroup Srl (www.sysgroup.it) has many important clients in various sectors, including utilities (Italgas, ASM Settimo Torinese, AMGAS), industry and services (SKF, TNT Global Express, Pirelli RE) and Public Administration (CSI Piemonte, Turin University, City of Seventh).

With a 2010 turnover of approximately € 850,000 and a about ten employees, Sysgroup is a consolidated firm in Italian GIS companies, as evidenced by the interest shown by GESP.

With this acquisition, GESP further expands its business area, confirming its position as one of the first Italian companies in the field of geographic information systems, and strengthens its production capacity by enriching its offer with projects and services dedicated to Facilities Management.

From an industrial perspective, the integration of Sysgroup in GESP will have a positive impact on customers related to both companies, particularly in the utilities sector.

GESP now adds to its usual locations in Milan and Bologna a new one in Turin and is thus prepared to face a 2011 of hard work, both on the domestic side, both in foreign markets, where GESP had just won an important order of the United Nations for the creation of a geographic system in the Caribbean.
