Client: Central Finance and Contracting Unit (CFCU), Ministry of Public Finance, Romania

The project concerns the supply and the putting into service of a technical office to manage GIS data and modelling. To maximize assistance, maintenance and services, GESP involved a network of local suppliers, representing technology resellers in Romania:

• System Plus (DELL reseller, RO),
• GeoSystems (ESRI reseller, RO),
• CG&GC Intelligent Technology (HP reseller, RO),
• Z Spot Media (Colortrac reseller, RO),
• TopGeoCart (Leica reseller, RO), and
• Bentley Italia (Modelling Software producer and reseller, IT).

The main part of the projects concerns the users’ training, as hereafter reported:

• 3-days server training,
• 25 days GIS training (ESRI Environment),
• 2-weeks / 80 hours Water system modelling training
• 2-weeks / 80 hours Sewer system modelling training
• 3-days GPS Receiver training
• 3-days Total Station training
