Client: BSPC, Blue Stream Pipeline Company B.V. (Joint Venture 50% Gazprom, 50% Eni)

gespBSIS is an information system for the management of design, survey and operation data relating to the offshore section of Blue Stream pipeline (in Black Sea) during its life.

During the project, a large amount of raster and vector heterogeneous data (sonar profiles, multimedia data coming from ROV - Remote Operative Vehicle - surveys, bathymetry, technical data, documents, etc.) was captured and integrated in an Oracle database. A deep elaboration of videography acquired by ROV (targeted to synchronize and view the frames) has been performed during the project.

The system, whole developed by GESP (both in the Document Management and in GIS / CAD component), was accepted on March 2006.

The system has a solid set of software functionalities to query the database, identify components as anodes, buckle arrestors, bars, etc. and compare attributes as lay date, relative position respect to beginning of the pipeline (KP = kilometric post), material, mechanical characteristics, etc. A very advanced numerical simulation model (based on Navier-Stokes equations) allows to calculate flow, temperature, pressure leaving from different initial conditions (including gas chemical mixture).

The system is installed in the central office of BSPC in Moscow and in other three outlying sites: Samsun (Turkey), Beregovaya (Russia) and Krasnodar (Russia).

Since March 2005, BSIS was supported by GESP through a 3-years maintenance contract.

The following HW / SW items were supplied as an integral part of the project:
