Normally GIS advanced technologies require mixed expertise: therefore, it can be convenient for the client to come to GESP in order to guarantee the continuity and the constant updating of their systems.
Staff training
As a rule GESP courses foresee:
- an introductive session extended also to managers and non-technical staff within the company or in administration, indispensable for the use, development and the growth of the system by optimising the investments made;
- relative practice regarding arguments dealt with in theoretical explanation sittings, possibly on case studies regarding standard activities that must be carried out by the system users;
- operative sessions limited to a maximum number of 8-10 users;
- online telephonic help in the months following the end of the sessions, so that users can be supported on operative aspects dealt with during the course in the first phases of activity (post-training).
Operative assistance
This is a service which offers support to users who want to immediately start using GIS solutions. Prepared technicians support the client in the first months of activity, with the specific aim of smoothing the impact that the new technology could possibly have on the organisation.
Online help
This is a service that GESP provides on a regular basis to its clients in the days following the project delivery date and the system set up, in order to make the use of the new instruments easier. The users are supported in the start-up phase, they have specialists in the sector available to help them and also the same group of staff that participated in the system’s realisation.
Popularisation support
This service consists of editing technical articles or divulging details related to the project carried out, which are to be published in magazines dedicated to that particular field or else at conventions and workshops. The publications are subject to a mutual signature and with the names of the technicians picked out by the client.
